They are currently occupying Wano Country after allying with shogun Kurozumi Orochi, having helped him take over the country and hunt down the remnants of the late daimyo Kozuki Oden's affiliates, and in exchange are allowed to use Wano as their base of operations and weapons factory.
Befitting their name, most of their members have a wild, barbarian-like appearance and share their captain's violent and bloodthirsty attitude. The savage and powerful pirate crew led by Kaido, one of the Four Emperors.
